Andrey Quintana is a young artist born in Holguin in 1984 and graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). He works and lives in Havana, Cuba. Through his works, he mainly wants to draw attention to and address issues that constitute serious problems affecting the world we live in. One of the characteristics is the use of irony, not as a mockery, but as a strategy and rhetorical way of expressing an idea without leaving room for the true meaning, even if it seems to be the opposite.
