Yuniel Delgado was born in Havana in 1984. He studied painting, illustration, sculpture and design at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes San Alejandro.
Painting is the mother expression of his discourse, as a backdrop that hosts a gestural and pictorial spectacle of a marked expressionist cut. All of his characters debate between the real and the fictitious, showing a commitment to social and contextual concerns.
He currently lives between Madrid, Havana and Miami.
