Jassiel Palenzuela was born in Havana in 1989. He graduated from the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts in 2008.
Palenzuela has focused on painting, and has taken advantage of the legacies of the language of video games, as well as the ways in which information is displayed on digital platforms and the complexities of multisensory interaction.
His work offers the public the dilemma of trying to embrace the Whole, in the midst of an accumulation of simultaneous information that translates the speed with which the present is lived and the contents are consumed in all the forums and virtual spaces.
He currently lives in Havana.
