Enrique Alfonso

Enrique Alfonso Rodríguez (Havana, 1989) stands out as a painter, draftsman, ceramist and graphic humorist. From an early age, his fascination for art was nurtured by his paternal grandmother.

Each of Enrique Alfonso’s paintings is imbued with stories and symbolism. His works resemble altarpieces, using everyday objects that evoke memories shared by many generations of Cubans, to narrate meaningful stories. His main objective is to establish an emotional connection with the viewer, capturing the deepest human feelings on canvas.

His talent has earned him recognition in artistic competitions both in Cuba and abroad. Currently, Enrique Alfonso lives and works in Havana, where he continues to explore new forms of artistic expression and to enrich the cultural panorama of his country.
